Your child will have some of these pages completed already. If not, your child can complete the pages during the week.  The first 3 pages are based on the number 4 . There is also a page where the children must count the number of items e.g. 4 snakes. They find the number 4 , write it ,  draw a ring around it and match it to the 4 snakes.  Page 62 involves the children finding the sets that are the same e.g. the 2 sets that have three shells. Your child draws a line (matches the sets) and colour them the same.

Sounds in my House

You can have lots of fun during the week listening to and trying to identify different sounds that are in the house ( eyes closed) 😊

When you are in different rooms in the house , together with your child close your eyes . What sounds can you hear?

Place different objects in front of your child e.g. a cup and a spoon, liquid to pour, pasta in a container, toaster, egg whisk, microwave , …etc. Your child shuts his eyes and you make a sound with one of the objects. Your child can guess what made the sound. Swap roles  – now you have to shut your eyes 😊.  If you want to make it harder, see if your child can remember two or even three sounds.

If you need to contact us at any time or if we can offer assistance in any way, please send us an email at any time and we will get back to you. (please email us both at all times – many thanks).
