Q2. a) Add all answers from Q1 =12.73

  1. b) 50.00-12.73= 37.27

Q3.  A) 1.18×10= 11.80, so 10kg @ 7.65 is cheaper

  1. B) 1.60/5×4=1.28, this is the cheapest.
  2. C) 0.62×1.5=0.93, this is the cheapest.
  3. D) 4.20/4×3=3.15, this is cheapest.

Q4. A) 750g/6=125g

  1. B) 125g=1/8kg. 1.60/8=20c

Q5. (0.62×7.5=4.65)+(1.18×2.5=2.95)+(1.60/10×3=48c)+(4.20/10×4=1.68)=9.76

Change is 20.00-9.76=10.24

Q6. Step 1: 72kg/3×2=48kg (this is ¾ of Carol’s weight)

  • RTE Home School  – will broadcast over an hour of “school on TV” to support primary school children and their parents at home. It will run from 11-12 Monday to Friday on RTÉ 2, with a shorter “catch-up” segment later in the afternoon. It will be aimed particularly at children in 1st to 6th class.
