6th Class Work at Home – Week: June 8nd – June 12th 2020
Parents & pupils, as we reach the end of our school year we will this year mark it with a new departure- a virtual graduation. As you are aware it is the safest option available but we do hope to gather all of you for one final farewell in September/October when safe to do so. We will broadcast the virtual graduation online and with parental permission, which we will deem given or consented to when you forward the following to us:
- A series of photos(3) of your school years – (1)early school years/ 1st day at school, (2)middle school years (2nd /3rd /4th classes) & (3) 6th class/ present day photo. These photos do not necessarily have to be in school uniform but if they are, ALL THE BETTER!!
- The items from last week’s HW- the comic strip of a favourite event of your time in Scoil Ghobnatan & your name decorated and coloured

When books are being collected from the school at the prescribed times for each class level during the week beginning Jan 11th, each pupil will receive a username and password which will allow them access to Microsoft Office365 – this online resource will allow each child access a range of Microsoft features such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (email) and Microsoft Teams.
The following video shows how to join a Microsoft Teams meeting:
MRS. CREMIN: This summer will mark the retirement of one of our long serving teachers, Ms. Cremin. She has been a support teacher attached to 6th class for many years, as well as being an invaluable asset in helping us out with in- class literacy, maths, well- being stations, supervision etc. We in 6th would like to wish her health and happiness in retirement and thank her for her work.
